My approach

My aim is to make sleep simple.

Welcome! I'm Charlotte Evans, certified Infant Sleep Consultant, founder of The Good Snooze Company, and Mum to two amazing boys. I am pretty much obsessed with sleep, and am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with other parents just like you.

I take a holistic look at sleep for your baby, as I see baby sleep like a jigsaw puzzle - if just one piece of the puzzle is out of place, it could make all the difference to the finished masterpiece that is a good night's sleep.

I work with parents of newborns up to 4 years old, offering gentle yet effective sleep support methods, meaning I won't let you leave your little one to cry. My one-to-one consultations provide personalised and tailored advice to suit your baby’s personality as well as your parenting preferences.

Having experienced two children under the age of two myself, I understand that parenting can be exhausting and overwhelming, and there is so much information out there that it's easy to get analysis paralysis when it comes to your baby's routine and sleep.

I'm here to make sleep one less thing to worry about.

Love, Charlotte xx

If you are struggling with getting your baby to sleep well, and it feels like you've tried everything to support them, then you are in the right place.

FAQs

Do you use cry-it-out sleep training methods?

Although these methods do have their place in supporting little ones to sleep independently, I prefer to use more gentle and responsive methods, which I will recommend based on the child's temperament, parent preference, and the nature of the sleep issue.

I don't want my baby to cry, can I still sleep train?

Of course! I do always caveat my support methods by saying that although I am advocating responsive and gentle methods,  we are making changes to your little ones sleep which may naturally involve some crying while they re-adjust.

Why should I use a sleep consultant?

Every family has a different idea of what they consider to be a 'sleep issue',  but if your little one's sleep (or lack of!) is starting to affect your mood, family life or your work, then it's time to get in touch. I am a certified Level 5 OCN Sleep Practitioner, and have first hand experience of supporting my two boys with their (very different!) sleep needs, as well as some happy and now well-rested clients.

If you have googled baby sleep so much you have 'analysis paralysis',  have received a lot of advice from well-meaning family and friends, and have seemingly read everything there is to read on social media about baby sleep - i'm here to help you clear the fog and give your little one the tailored sleep support they need for a good snooze.
